Hello, All! Anyone that has been following Lindsey’s blog knows that little Austin has finally come home from the hospital! 11 days is an incredibly l o n g (if you take into consideration that an uncomplicated cardiac bypass surgery usually stays about 4 days in the hospital)! I know you are like me and are glad to have the Botkin family all at home.
Well, no moss grew under Mrs. Lindsey’s feet while she watched over her babe at the hospital. If you check out Jacksonbelle Embellishments you will notice that she re-organized and did a fall cleaning on the store site. You’ll definitely want to and browse around to first, make sure nothing has been hiding from you and second, check out the awesome new Prima and Inka products that are on the virtual shelves. I am completely blown away by these new Inka images and the new Prima is seriously dangerous!!!!
Remember this is the last weekend you have to make a card before the September 30th deadline of the Inkadinkado contest! You can submit cards from any of the 4 sketches at any time up to the 30th deadline. So why not take a break from blog hopping and go get those fun Inkas inky!!!!! The deats can be found here. And all 4 sketches are at the links below!
Don’t have time to play, then take a minute to look at the totally awesome entries over at SCS. Just put the specific sketch name (either JBE018, JBE019, JBE020, or JBE021) in the gallery search. You’ll find tons of wonderful Inka creations and don’t forget to share the artists some love with a comment!
Thanks for stopping by!
Just a quick note this morning. First some truly awesome news! Lindsey’s youngest son Austin was removed from the ventilator yesterday and is showing great improvement! It looks like a couple of more days in PICU then a couple in a regular hospital bed and HOME! The thoughts and prayers of everyone are so very appreciated!
Today is the fourth and final sketch for the Inkadinkado contest. You can find all the details in this post. If you upload your card to SCS be sure to use JBE021 in your keywords so we can find your awesome entries and ALL entries must be e-mailed to Lynda Benden at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Be sure to check out the DT blogs for samples using this awesome sketch:

One of my most vivid memories as a child was making Christmas crafts at school and being permitted to use GLITTER!!! The huge containers of silver, gold, red, green, blue and multi-colored remain very fondly in my mind. Today I am still drawn to all that sparkles and one of my favorite things about paper crafting for the Holidays is all the shine and glitter used to embellish! This is why I am so… excited to announce that Jacksonbelle Embellishments has just restocked on Shimmerz!!! Lindsey has so… many colors available including the Christmas traditionals- Royal Red, Evergreen, Silver Bells and the ever popular Angels Wings! Live something icy- why not give Sky Blue, Mint or Periwinkle. Are you the one that is always up on the latest trends? Well, this year’s HOT Christmas color is Kiwi- so take a look a Key Lime- I think it’s a winner! Have you not tried Shimmerz, yet? Well, it adds the most beautiful sparkle to your project with a quick flick of a paint brush AND it dries super quick. Jacksonbelle DT member Kisa Peters is, also, a member of the Shimmerz DT and look what she did with Shimmerz and Prima flowers HERE! Absolutely gorgeous!!! Also, while we are talking about sparkle, Lindsey, also, has the new Ranger Glitz Stickles so be sure to check those out when your looking at the Shimmerz- cause really can you EVAH have enough BLING!!! Be sure to check here at the blog for the next sketch for the Inkadinkado Contest! So far the entries have been incredible! If you would like to check some of them out- go to SCS- gallery- then put JBE018 and JBE019 in the search box (you will need to do a separate search for each key word)!
